What is Zamar?

Z-ONE

This is the slightly smaller unit of the two and delivers cold therapy ( +5 °C to +15 °C) to the wrapped area. The Z-One works for up to 10h at a time and has three compression settings for you to choose from. You can save up to two treatment settings for use again and again throughout your injury recovery! 

Z-C3

This unit provides hot and cold treatments ranging from +0 °C to +40 °C. The Z-C3 has the same compression settings as the Z-One, however can work for up to 300h a day, therefore great for use in clinics/clubs where it will be needed all day long. In addition, you can store up to 12 treatments with the ability to select two different temperature and treatment times at once.

 How does it differ from a game ready?

Game Ready’s start at a slightly cheaper price, however with both Game Ready and Zamar providing multiple models, the cost varies depending on and extras such as wraps etc. They are both great for use following an injury as they provide both cold therapy and compression. In addition, both Game Ready and Zamar provide models for just icing (GRPro2.1 and Z-One) and for ice and heat (Med4 Elite and Z-C3) perfect for contrast therapy.

The main benefit of the Zamar is that it is a closed dripless system, whereas the Game Ready requires an abundance of ice and water to run through programme settings. 

Do I have to refill it with coolant?

Yes, the liquid level alarm signals the lack of liquid inside the system. The system remains locked until the user replenishes the tank with the original liquid ZAMAR NONTOX. Once the system is filled, it automatically resumes from where it left off.
