RecoverFit are delighted to welcome Elliot Turner to the team.

Elliot is currently head of fitness and conditioning at high-flying League One outfit Plymouth Argyle Football Club, where he looks after all the first-team recovery protocols, GPS data, team warm-ups and all the strength and conditioning work the players may need during the season.

Elliot started out as a professional footballer coming through the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy and then playing for Shrewsbury Town, Tamworth Town and Worcester City.

Having a keen interest in the sports science and fitness side of the game, after his professional days were over, he then went to the University of Worcester to study Sports Science.

After graduating, the ex-football player then had a spell with a professional Rugby outfit, Worcester Warriors as an interim Sports Scientist in 2016 before returning to Shrewsbury Town Football Club for a short spell as a fitness coach/sports scientist. He then joined Nuneaton Town as their strength and conditioning coach, moving to Kidderminster Harriers in a head of sports science role in 2018. Elliot then took on a similar role with Solihull Moors in July 2020 where he was approached by Plymouth Argyle to take on his current role.

To have someone with his expertise, and knowledge whilst still having his foot (excuse the pun!) in the professional game, it was a no-brainer to get him involved in RecoverFit in one way or another.

“As Elliot has a background in the game as a player and now as a backroom team member, it aligns with all our philosophies to realistically integrate our products and services into sports teams all over the country.
